Quartz tiles are becoming a more popular design option as homeowners like yourself look for original design concepts that are just as durable as full quartz countertops. You probably want to be able to place your hot pots and pans directly on the counter and be able to take advantage of the easy clean up that pore free countertops owners owners have come to expect.

One consideration you will have to make is special care of your grout. You will have to seal your grout and that basically means you will seal your entire quartz countertop. You will also have to put down a flat surface on the tiles when you want to work dough or cut vegetables.

I'm sure you are already familiar with what grout is and how it is used to fill the space between each tile. What you may not know is that there are special grouts you can buy that are epoxy based that will resist staining better than traditional grout. You can also get grout that is colored to match your quartz tiles creating a more uniform look for you counter.

You can also use smaller quartz tiles to create mosaic patterns. Using tiles that are two inches square or smaller will really allow you to get creative with your kitchen or bathroom surfaces.
